My uncle owns a Bentley Continental and over the past few weeks the gearbox has started giving him trouble. It jerks a little when shifting and sometimes there is a strange clunk when he moves from park to drive. He is not very tech savvy so I told him I would ask around online for him. I found gearboxrepairsharjah.ae/brands/bentley while searching for options and it seems to cover Bentley gearbox repair in Sharjah, but before he commits to anything I wanted to get some real feedback from people who have actually dealt with this kind of problem. The thing is he loves that car and does not want to sell it, but he is also scared that a repair could cost more than the car is worth. I keep telling him that ignoring a gearbox issue usually makes it worse but I am not a mechanic so I cannot be sure. Has anyone here had gearbox work done on a Bentley or another luxury car in Sharjah? I want to know if the shops there really have the experience and tools for these cars or if they just claim they do. Also how long does a repair like this usually take and roughly what did you pay? He is on a tight budget so any honest numbers would really help.
