So I'm driving my FX35 the other day and suddenly this battery warning light pops up on the dash along with some message about the charging system, and honestly my heart just sank because I immediately started thinking about alternators and expensive repairs that I really can't afford right now. I pulled over, turned the car off and on again, and the light went away but came back after about ten minutes of driving which makes me think it's not just a glitch. I took it to a random garage near my place and the guy there was like "yeah you need a new battery" but he didn't even test the alternator or check for parasitic drain, he just looked at it for two seconds and gave me a quote. Something about that didn't sit right with me because I know these Infinitis can be finicky and I don't want to throw money at a battery if the underlying issue is actually the alternator or something electrical. I've been doing some research online and apparently these cars are really sensitive to battery quality and you absolutely cannot just use any generic battery because it'll mess with the intelligent charging system. That's why I'm determined to find a genuine Infiniti battery replacement in Dubai from a place that actually knows what they're doing and will properly diagnose the issue before just swapping parts. Has anyone here had a similar experience with their Infiniti where the battery light came on but it turned out to be something else, or did a new battery actually solve the problem? I'm trying to avoid getting ripped off but also don't want to ignore a serious issue that could leave me stranded on Sheikh Zayed Road. Really need some expert opinions on this one.
